The excitement starts at check-in, just 20 minutes prior to your departure time. Hand off your boarding pass to the pilot at the gate and you’re on your way!

Your flight is just 35 minutes from Victoria or 18 minutes from Nanaimo to downtown Vancouver.
When you land, book your taxi or UBER/Lyft or board the Helijet courtesy shuttle for a quick transfer over to Waterfront Station. From there, board the Skytrain Expo Line for the 6 minute ride to Main Street-Science World Station.  Exit the station, and follow the Gametrails signage along the vibrant spectator route, with activations and activities along your way the stadium gates at Keefer Street.

If you don’t have a tickets, there still plenty of activities and fan events happening to soak up the spirit of the Beautiful Game!

FIFA FAN FESTIVAL is the official Vancouver fan site. Located at the PNE grounds, in East Vancouver, open everyday until July 19, it is the hub of all things World Cup.  Big screens around the site will have live broadcasts of every match. In between the games, experience world class live entertainment from multiple stages, food & beverage, sponsor activations and activities all around the grounds. The newly opened Fan Festival Amphitheatre is the mainstage, screening all matches and hosting world class entertainment. Like the rest of the festival grounds, the standing room only floor viewing is free on a first-come, first-served basis. The Amphitheatre Seating and General Admission Lawn are the Festival’s only paid-ticketed viewing.

Getting to the FIFA Fan Festival from the Vancouver Harbour Heliport is convenient too.
After your flight from Victoria or Nanaimo, book your taxi or UBER/Lyft or board the Helijet courtesy shuttle for a quick transfer over to Waterfront Station and board the Skytrain Expo Line for the 20 minute ride to 29th Avenue Station or Renfrew Station on Skytrain Millennium Line.  From the Skytrain station catch the special #11 – Fan Festival Express bus directly to the Fan Festival grounds.

CANADA SOCCER HOUSE AT THE SHIPYARDS; presented by the City of North Vancouver in partnership with Canadian Soccer Media & Entertainment runs from June 11 to July 19. Watch live match broadcasts on a giant screen in The Shipyard Commons, along with multiple other screens throughout the area.  The six week watch party, street festival, soccer fest, and national celebration, is also conveniently located to Helijet at Vancouver Harbour Heliport.

When you land, ask the Helijet Courtesy Shuttle to drop you or walk out the Heliport Driveway and across the parking lot to the SeaBus terminal at Waterfront Station. Catch a scenic 12 minute SeaBus sailing across Burrard Inlet to Lonsdale Quay. Exit the terminal and walk East (to your right) along the waterfront boardwalk about 5 minutes to The Shipyards Commons.

GRANVILLE STREET PEDESTRIAN ZONE; from June 11 to July 19, Granville Street (between Davie and West Georgia St) will transform into a vibrant, temporary people-first public space inviting visitors and locals to stroll, gather, dine, and explore the 28 expanded patios for dining and gathering, additional public seating, market vendors, and local food and beverage offerings. Granville businesses will also host activations, watch parties, and special events throughout the tournament, creating a vibrant atmosphere from day to night.

Located in the heart of Downtown Vancouver, it is easy to get to by foot from Waterfront Station or catch any Canada Line Skytrain for the 4 minute ride to Vancouver City Centre. Located at Granville and Georgia Streets it’s the perfect starting point to explore the Pedestrian Zone.
