After an online shopping experience for 2020, the Vancouver Christmas Market is back! Vancouver’s only European Christmas Market is ready to celebrate the spirit of the holiday season with an expanded six-week schedule from November 13th to December 24th at Jack Poole Place in downtown Vancouver.
The 11th year of the outdoor, traditional German-inspired Market will welcome-back visitors introduce new vendors and activities with schedules launching over the coming weeks. Traditional mulled wine, sweet and savoury bites and baked goods, carousel rides, festive music, and holiday light displays will all be part of this year’s event.
“Many Vancouverites and visitors make it an annual holiday tradition to visit the Vancouver Christmas Market with friends and family,” says Denise Wegener, President of the Vancouver Christmas Market. “As it’s been a tough time for many, the Market is offering a reduced ticketing rate so that more people can visit us this year.”

Vancouver Christmas Market is open daily from 11:30am to 9:30pm, November 13 – December 24, 2021 at Jack Poole Plaza, 1055 Canada Place Way.
The Vancouver Christmas Market is implementing COVID-19 safety protocols, following Provincial, local and Vancouver Convention Centre health guidelines, to protect the Markets staff, vendors and shoppers. This year’s Market features a new online reservation system with timed/dated entry to ensure the Market is not crowded and social distancing is possible. Upon entering the Market, guests over 12 years of age will be asked to present a valid COVID-19 vaccination passport, and are invited to stay as long as they like. Adults aged 19 and over will also need to present a government-issued photo ID. Hand sanitizer will be supplied throughout the site.
