Main Street access to Vancouver Heliport

For those passengers arriving to the Vancouver Harbour Heliport by vehicle, please be advised of road works on Port Metro Vancouver’s Main Street Overpass.

Starting March 14, 2016, Port Metro Vancouver is conducting general maintenance to the bridge deck, road and sidewalks joints, which will require resurfacing of the roadway and sidewalks.   We have been advised that during the approximate 8 week construction period, vehicle lanes will be narrowed to accommodate two lanes in the space of the present single lane, drivers will be directed to reduce speed to ensure safety. Traffic management crews will be on hand to guide drivers and ensure the safety of all Port users.
Pedestrians and cyclists are advised to watch for signage as only one sidewalk will be open at a time. The work is estimated to conclude late May 2016.

Vehicle access to Vancouver Harbour Heliport via the Cordova Street ramp under Vancouver Convention Centre remains operational.

We thank you for your patience during these roadworks.
